I could understand because there's only blacks that work here. I'm not sure if that's good for marketing by having only one race work. Like Progressive Health, that's all white, black clients didn't want to go there. You have to have a mix, not just one race. I wonder sometimes if white people come here on tours and say no way, they won't come here when they see a lot of blacks. It would be good to hire white people too especially since white clients can relate to them better. Almost all the white clients make fun of the black workers here. They'll pretend to be nice to them to their face but behind their back it's a different story. I can guarantee that 100 percent.
I, more than any client here, grew up with blacks so that could be a reason why I could deal with different races better than others. My mother, since she's Italian, loves black people and their culture. I don't care what you say, Italians are almost like black people whether you think that's good or bad.
If you look at my history, I mostly fight and argue with white people at Universal even though there are more blacks. This is not because I'm not a racist. I have racist views. I have racist views against a lot of different races. If you think about it, white people communicate with me more because I'm white. The more you communicate with some one, the more you're bound to have a fight.
This is a good reason why Suzie and I got into a lot of arguments. She never felt comfortable around blacks and communicated with me more than the blacks here. As a result, she drove me crazy and we got into arguments. She also felt more comfortable communicating with me more because I was white. She had a harder time telling a black person what to do because she wasn't used to being around them and I in turn resented her because of it. I didn't realize it then.
The same thing could be said for Kristen and myself too at the start.
